Buddy Harris Hawk

Why the name?
Named by the falconer who owned him.

Rehab history
Arrived in March 1998.

Story
This Harris Hawk was purchased from a breeder by a local falconer who hunted with him regularly. Buddy is non-releaseable because he was raised among humans, and would always return to them if released. He makes a wonderful education bird who is very comfortable around people, and is very interactive and "talkative". Buddy is also a ham of the first order, always seeking people's attention.
