Buzz Northern Saw-Whet Owl

Why the name?
Because he is such a feisty and vocal little owl.

Rehab history
Came into rehab in February 2001. Became an education bird in May 2001.

Story
Buzz, a Northern Saw-Whet Owl, was found at the foot of some basement stairs, unable to fly. He has neurological damage, and never regained much ability to fly. He is a wonderful little guy - very attractive and non-threatening to young people. Although he is only about six inches tall, Buzz acts as if he was a great big owl. A treat to work with!
