Help the RCV! < Home

It is expensive to treat, feed and house raptors, whether injured or permanent non-releasable residents. The birds of course do not pay any bills they incur - they are wild creatures with no family or friends (except us) to help, and no insurance to defray costs. The Adopt-A-Raptor and donation programs help the RCV to cover these expenses, and allow the RCV to continue its work.

This is a great way for organizations or corporations to get involved. And what a wonderful gift for a family member or friend - or yourself! Your support will help to offset the costs of food, housing, supplies and medical care. These costs may last for a few days to a year for a rehabilitation bird, and a lifetime for non-releaseable raptors serving as ambassadors for their species.

Adopt-A-Raptor program

All Adopters will receive an adoption certificate plus a 5 x 7 color picture and an information sheet on their adopted RCV bird. To learn more about participating, please view the RCV Adopt-A-Raptor Form.

Volunteering

We are always on the lookout for new volunteers! If you are interested in applying for a volunteer position with the RCV, please fill out the RCV Volunteer Application.

Other Support

You do not have to join the Adopt-A-Raptor program or volunteer to support the RCV. Donations in any amount are very much appreciated, and help the RCV continue its work. To learn more about participating, please view the RCV Donation Form.
